A nice break between exams, this morning's solar eclipse brought excitement to students, faculty, and staff alike.

During lunch, many students made their way to the garden outside the cafeteria to view the eclipse through special eclipse-viewing glasses which were provided by our resident General Science and Physics teacher, Mr. Fitzpatrick. A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon aligns perfectly in between the Sun and Earth, blocking the light from the Sun. Although Guam only viewed today's as a partial eclipse, it was a spectacle nonetheless.
