ACCOUNTING

This one year course introduces students to accounting, imparting the idea that the discipline is used as a basis for making business decisions.  The course provides students with the fundamental tools needed for critical business comprehension; students learn the vocabulary and the methodology of accounting.

GENERAL BUSINESS

An introductory course in economics designed to examine the roles of consumers, firms, and governments in a free enterprise system. This one-year course helps students to gain an understanding of key micro/macro economic concepts needed to evaluate the impact of economic policies on individuals, households, firms, and societies.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This one-year course introduces students to the various aspects of starting and operating a new business.  The course is designed to provide an understanding of the process of creating and growing a new venture through the development of a business plan.

YEARBOOK

In this course, students will learn basic principles of creative writing, layout and design, and desktop publishing. Utilizing desktop publishing software, students will create flyers, yearbook spreads, advertisements, and information graphics.
