Celebrating 70 Years: AOLG Welcomes New School Year 2019-2020

On August 7, 2019, the traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit celebrated by Fr. Tom McGrath, S.J. opened the 70th school year of the Academy of Our Lady of Guam (AOLG). After the Mass, students, faculty and staff  and the new Superintendent of Catholic Education, Dr. Juan Flores were welcomed at an Assembly in the school auditorium. The school held various activities and meetings for the first few weeks to help launch the new year. As part of the 70th school year, the Academy will hold a special Mass celebration on September 24, 2019 at the Agaña Cathedral-Basilica at 8:30 a.m.. All are invited to attend the 70th Anniversary Mass with the Academy students, faculty, staff, alumnae, benefactors, families and friends. As we commemorate our 70th year, may the Academy continue to be blessed with wonderful and giving students and families who continually share their gifts in their Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy acts in the community. Welcome, thank you very much, and kudosfor this milestone of 70 years!
